Just last week, mom told me a story about my brother and onion (#girlsgossip). She was confident my brother able or at least knew a bit how to cook, since he always went for camping. But, it was all wrong.

Talking about my brother, he never ever involved in the kitchen affairs except washing dishes (well everyone needs to do that). Since, he is the only boy in the family
, we never asked him to help with kitchen task like cutting vegetables, cooking and many more. (Gosh, always girls to do that) .
Thefore, one day my mom asked him to cook 'nasi goreng' for dinner. So, my mom  just peeking through the whole cooking process. but the first step was so so so FUNNY.

He washed the onion while the skin still there ?! Omg my mom like I would never trust this guy to cook again. HAHAHAHA

So, today, I just come back home from UM, and I saw 'nasi goreng' on the table. Since, I  feel like eating, I took one scoop of it. The moment I taste the rice. i asked him who is the cooker? Definitely not my mom, I know. He said "I am the chef, how is it?". I answered "nice, kurang garam je.". the story end there. i went up to rest and eventually sleep.

After a while, my younger sister comes back from school, she had the 'nasi goreng'  and of course she asked ' who is the chef '. My brother said he cooked it, is it nice? . Then, she answered "yup nice, better than the one Kak Aida used to cook."..... I was right there okay, sis.

Hi, been so long since my last post. now i'm done with the first semester being UM archi student . my uni life begin on 28 august 2016 ,  at first i'm so excited as i get the courses that i want, i'm so proud . honestly, i think i'm good at drawings etc the talent u need for this course . but when i come here there are bunch of talented people! so i do get nervous .

now i'm in this courses , in my opinion architecture is not about good drawing its more like how u solve the society problem with aesthetic value in consideration . my life in uni is super duper busy , for me its very rare to see me at college since most of my time i ' ll be at studio. going back late which normally around 3-4 am is like a routine for me . therefore, my dark circle go crazy!

architecture teach me even u stay up all night long dont aspect u ll come out with a good grade because this course is very subjective . even till now i still confuse which one is good or bad. but they do hve different though. for this semester i admit i almost cry 2 times . once it because i did not lead my team well , the momment i saw my teammates faces as we got 'scold' by the lecturer my heart broke into pieces , i cant cry bcs i'hve to be strong to fight this moment because for me if i cry i lost this battle. next scene, when i feel lost and i do not know which one to do first a lot of thing need  to be settle + i sick

in conclusion , its fun being an archi student because normally like highschool or foundation u struggles with books ,,, now my life seems more fun more things to exprience as we need to to think out the box all time . so we cannot expect what gonna happen in the next day . its always gonna change . so it kinda fun not knowing what gonna happen the next day .

Firstly, when you come across this post, its mean that you are the chosen one to go for the interview or maybe you want to pursue architecture course as your first degree. Congratulations!
USM architecture interview was held in the Penang main campus. Since I live in Selangor I have to travel all the way to Penang.
I went to Penang alone. i took flight in the early morning. It easy going to the campus from the airport as the campus only 20 minutes away from the airport. I took airport cab and  drive me to the campus. since i went there alone and i'm female so always know the car location and direction using WAZE and application for directory. Its all for safety reason. after registration , i eat my breakfast since being there early is benefit. most of the candidates came with their parents from all states in malaysia, kind sad going there alone. so then there will talk by senior and they re kindly enough to give us some tips for the iv.

after that we 're divided by panel A,B,C and D. i dont know why i got panel D. so we moved to the drawing test room. start to sketch for 45 minutes which is not enough for me to render the sketch. the questions asked to sketch chalet by a river and technology used for the chalet with tropical theme.
then, we move to interview waiting room. we are lucky because 3 candidate and 3 interviewer.
they asked you to introduced yourself and our family and why you choose architecture. After that they will take a look at your drawings you brought there and they asked you to explain the sketch during the drawing test. relax just explain with confident. finally they will asked you your final opinion which is the reason why they have to take you as their student.

i went back to airport at 1 pm , so it too early for my flight at 6pm. so i opened my sketch book and start to sketch whatever in front of me. since i was sitting in front of mcdonalds the i drew the mcdonalds.

Finally , i' m done with matriculation studies. Being in matriculation do change the way i think. I know matriculation was hard enough. I cried once because of studies stress.  On the last day, i ask most of my friends , roommates etc have you ever cried here? Majority said YES. When i asked for the reasons most of them said study stress in demand when you have to do well. As everyone in here is our competitor.

So for those who choose matriculation as your path. Its a good choice.
For those who really want go overseas for degree. Matriculation is one of the path only if you did well and always check the information box at hal ehwal pelajar buiding. Cos from there i know matriculation student do have opportunity for study in overseas. Beforehand, your academic result come first.

So, being in matriculation yes I admit it hard especially when you took module 1 which include chemistry, physics biology and math.
at first it hard for me to adapt with the culture I started my first semester by getting C for my physic  , D for my Chemistry and B for biology and maths quizs Yes I know I'm not a bright student to begin with. I cried all day long when I know my result. my first half semester exam I got CGPA 2.9 which is so dissapointing as people around me majority scored CGPA 3.0+. But never give up, I try my best be clingy with those who i judged as brilliant student I went to wherenever they went including when their tutorial teacher held an extra class for their practicum. shamelessly attended the class hahahaha. So by the end of the semester my PSPM 1 CGPA is 3.85 . Yahoo!

score 3.85 is nothing. because in my college 300+ student score 4.0 for PSPM 1. but its a great achievement anyway.
 At the end of November if I'm not mistaken, my 2nd semester started, the moment when the syllybus get tougher especially for chemistry but its okay stay motivated! so this time I studied alone. Because I start to gain confident based on my quiz score. and I scored 3.73 for my half 2nd semester exam. ya its not what I expected . but I admit that I'm weak in chemistry. Next, for PSPM 2, I prepared for the exam a month earlier as the chemistry syllybus get tougher and have to cope with busy schedule. However Physic and Biology were neglected.Most of the time I'm with Chemistry and Mathematics book as I got B+ in math in PSPM 1 and B for Chemistry for UPS 2 . I managed to finish all the pysic syllybus in a day  which was 2 days before Physic exam and I also need to cover for my Biology which the exam held a day earlier than Physics. So, I make a study group with those who are in the same situation. it was such a hectic weekend.

The day when the PSPM 2 result about to come out, I was so nervous for my Physic and biology as i studied a very last minute for the subjects. alhamdullilah I finally got 4.0 CGPA. my dream finally came true. thanks for the people who help me . thanks a lot ya! Now, it proof that study group is my thing!

Alhamdulillah I have done with first 5 months/1st phase/1st semester in Negeri Sembilan Matriculation College. here we go I want to share to readers how I studied for MUET which held right after the PSPM1. since, I'm from module 1, my studies including 4 main subjects which are maths, physics, chemistry and biology.
Being in the first module, we have to set a strategy I managing time as we need to cover all the subjects in a short period together prepared for MUET. I do not know about other matriculation college but in our college there is a programme for MUET preparation. Alhamdulillah I got into elite class. we were separated in three groups which are elite, moderate, paradigm. the classes only held for those who are in the group of elite and paradigm. the class were held right after your daily classes end. I admit during that time I was tired besides being jealous of my friends as i see my friends on their way to meet their bed. this programme is so helpful

muet consist of 4 papers, reading, writting, listening, speaking (oral test). firstly, while waiting for IPTA or college application , I begin my muet study. I start listening Obama's speech, try learnt word pronouncations one by one from A to Z.
